Retail Media Director (Amazon Ads) - Global Agency - £50,000-£60,000

The Company

Global Network Agency based in London, serves as the central team supporting their 250 offices across 95 countries, with a workforce of over 8,000. Their team specialise in communications planning, digital innovation, and client leadership, collaborating seamlessly to support industry leaders.

Flexible working policy: 3 days per week in the office. 6 weeks work from anywhere in the world per year.

The Job

• Lead team in performance and strategic implementation across marketplaces.
• Emphasis on Amazon campaigns within international markets (US & EMEA).
• Ensure day-to-day Amazon Advertising activities meet performance targets.
• Communicate key insights and opportunities within the retail industry.
• Balance strategy (70%) and hands-on activation work (30%).
• Demonstrate outstanding performance, optimization, and client management skills.
• Mentor team on global retail media practices.
• Report directly to the Global Commerce Lead.
• Facilitate communication with clients, quality assurance, growth strategies, and financial management.

You:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Amazon advertising
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Experience in managing a team directly.
• Confidence and track record in managing substantial accounts, preferably within an agency context.
• Strategic thinking and business acumen in setting team goals and crafting innovation strategies

Bonus Considerations:

• Certification in Amazon Advertising Foundations and Sponsored Ads Foundations.
• Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Brand Analytics.
• Experience in managing Amazon DSP accounts and AMC setup.Strong grasp of concepts such as "retail readiness," inventory management, buy-box, content, and reviews.
