Are you passionate about supporting and making a difference in the lives of students with ALN? We are currently seeking a dedicated, experienced ALN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic Special Education School located in the Rhondda.

Responsibilities as an ALN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide tailored support to students with ALN, ensuring each individual's needs are met inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing specialised learning strategies within the classroom.
  • Foster a supportive & inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Be proactive and build positive relationships with the students to ensure they are engaged, happy & learning.

Requirements as an ALN Teaching Assistant:

  • Relevant experience working within a school setting
  • Strong background in supporting students with Additional Learning Needs
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ideally, you will have a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • An Enhanced DBS check & Registration with the EWC

Contract: Full-time position until the end of the school year (July 2024) in a SEN school in the Rhondda
