Alarm and Security Engineer

Alarm and Security Engineer required. Our client has been trading for 20 years in the Fire and Security industry. They now require an experienced Multi disciplined Alarm and Security Engineer based around the West Midlands to work with the majority of clients based around England & Wales.

Successful candidates will have vast experience in install and service of security systems and ideally fire alarms as well.

Alarm and Security Engineer Position Overview

• Installation, Service and repair of Alarm and security systems to UK Industry Standard to include intruder alarms, CCTV and access control.
• Some experience in fire alarms and emergency lighting would be an advantage
• Proactive approach to compliance
• Attend reactive callouts
• Able to identify and resolve system faults
• Installations
• Work well in a team
• Be part of an on call rota
• Able to make decisions and liaise with clients and customers.
• Some overnight stays to work away will be part of the role.

Alarm and Security Engineer Position Requirements

• Experience of Intruder Alarm installations
• Minimum 3 years experience Engineering in Fire & Security
• Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms. Knowledge of Fire Alarms & Emergency Lighting would be an advantage
• Full Clean UK Driving License required
• Excellent Fault-Finding Skills

Alarm and Security Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: £28,000- £34,000
• Working hours: 8-5pm Monday to Friday
• Holiday Package: 20 days + 8BH
• Company Vehicle and fuel covered
• Call out rota 1 in 6 (£2000 retained a year paid monthly)
• Overtime and payment on call outs physically attended.
• Pension
