Airline reservations agent

Airline Reservations agent - Required for this expanding airline based in the city. They are looking for an experience airline reservations agent with Amadeus knowledge who speaks Mandarin or Cantonese, office based 5 days per week Monday to Friday. Salary around £29,000 plus benefits

Airline reservations agents duties
-Taking reservations calls from both direct passengers and trade partners
-Generating airline bookings, changes, ancillaries, etc. and issuing/reissuing tickets/EMD's (auto & manual fare-build)
-Processing invoices and payments of airline tickets, whilst adhering to strict airline and company reporting guidelines
-Daily & monthly airline sales reports and reconciliation
-Providing excellent customer service both on the telephone and face-to-face
-Dealing with ticket reissues, upgrades, reroutes, lost tickets etc. both over the phone and face-to-face
-Group bookings and tour operator allocations, including issuing of contractual terms & conditions in conformance to individual airline protocols
-Liaising with Airlines' local management and head office

Airline reservations agents skills required
-Minimum two years' experience in an airline reservations and ticketing role
-Strong Reservations, Fares & E-Ticketing experience in Amadeus
-Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
-Ability to work under pressure
-Excellent telephone manner
-Ability to work as part of a team
-Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese

Additional information
-Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
