Airfreight Pricing Co-ordinator

My client, a leading logistics provider, is looking to recruit an Airfreight Pricing Co-ordinator to join its team in the Heathrow area.

You will be supporting the commercial and operations teams in growing the airfreight product.

ROLE: Airfreight Pricing Co-ordinator

LOCATION: Heathrow/Berkshire

SALARY: Negotiable dependent upon experience

INDUSTRY: Freight forwarding/airfreight

THE ROLE:

• Product reporting
• Providing procurement and pricing assistance
• Internal sales support with exisiting accounts and new opportunities.
• Assistance in maintaining current house accounts and retained business.
• Providing procurement and supplier maintenance.
• General rate maintenance and distribution through internal systems.
• To develop and maintain personal expertise in selling skills and operational systems
• To monitor all assigned Accounts with the customer service team to ensure low and nil spend customers are immediately identified and relevant follow up action is taken.
• Liaise with all new and regular customers on all queries and issues through regular contact by telephone.
• Constantly evaluate processes and procedures and suggest possible improvements at customer account level.
• Responding to customer enquiries professional and promptly.
• Liaise with all new and regular customers on all queries and issues through regular contact by telephone.
• To manage events to ensure customer KPI’s are met.
• Make regular contact with all Accounts by telephone and arranging business reviews where necessary.
• Developing relationships with the Sales team, Customer Service team and the Air Product team to share customer knowledge and provide business support.
• To receive, action and deliver on air quotation requests.
• Follow up on all air quotations delivered and manage success rate.
• Support the Air Product & Sales teams with the route development on agreed trade lanes.
• Commercial awareness all at times.
