Airfreight Export Clerk

Our client is a leader in pet transportation and is looking for a Airfreight Export Specialist to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with pets and pet owners, assisting them in relocating their beloved companions across the globe. This role offers the opportunity to quote clients on transportation costs, navigate paperwork, and ensure exceptional customer service. This is a fully on-site position.

Airfreight Export Specialist Responsibilities:

• Provide quotes to clients for transportation costs.
• Assist clients in navigating the paperwork required for pet transportation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.
• Utilise computer systems to manage bookings and respond to customer inquiries.
• Answer incoming customer calls and provide assistance as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in airfreight is essential for this role.
• Possession of a current driving licence is required, as there may be occasional transportation of pets to/from the airport, local vets, or kennels.
• Minimum of 1 year of airfreight export experience.
• Comfortable being around pets and able to handle and load small animals when necessary.
