I am excited to be recruiting for a rapidly expanding construction company specialising in Air Acoustics, Energy, and Environmental services. They offer a wide range of expert sustainability and compliance services such as environmental monitoring, performance testing, energy consultancy, and health and safety services. The company caters to the Built Environment and Specialist Access sectors in the UK. Established for over 20 years, they have become renowned in their field.

My client is recruiting for an Air Testing Technician, based in Cumbria. As an Air Testing Technician, your days will be varied as you will be undertaking air testing at different sites as well as liaising with a range of key professionals. The role will offer the exciting opportunity to travel to various customer sites across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum level 1 ATTMA airtightness testing certification (or above).
• Awareness of current construction design and technology, including Building Regulations and industry guidelines, is preferred.
• Good IT skills, including the ability to use spreadsheets, emails, and manage files.
• Experience in testing complex building structures such as smoke shafts, isolation rooms and Plenums.
• Full UK drivers' licence.

Role responsibilities include:

• Undertaking air testing and working with the company's clients to ensure buildings are compliant and sustainable.
• Deliver your expert advice on the compliance and sustainability of impressive buildings, in accordance with CIBSE TM23:2000, BS EN13829:2001 and ATTMA TSL1 & TSL2.
• Presenting findings in an ATTMA short report.
• Diagnosing potential issues and delivering innovative solutions to exciting construction projects, in all phases of construction.

This role comes with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £32,000 plus various benefits including, a cycle to work scheme, generous annual leave, and health care cash back scheme.
