Air Export Operator – South Manchester - £35,000 DOE

UK based provider of Airfreight solutions with offices In Manchester, Birmingham, Heathrow and London working exclusively with freight forwarders and customs clearance agents, who pride themselves on the quality of the service they provide and offering the most competitive rates structure on the market.
 
Role
 
They are looking for an Air Export Operator who has full start to finish experience and somebody who can come in and hit the ground running with a positive attitude and good sense of humour.
  • Preparing quotes & routings for clients.
  • Arranging bookings with hauliers and airlines.
  • Creating Jobs via Multiflight
  • Preparing documentation for customs clearance / airlines.
  • Checking airline rates and flight schedules.
  • Customs export entries and completing all export documentation
  • Final delivery & invoicing.
Skills
  • Confident liaising with Airlines, overseas offices and customers. Inputting data onto IT systems, maintain systems and provide a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Candidates MUST have worked in an air freight role and had 2+ years of experience, preferably in a busy Exports Forwarding department
  • The role will involve liaising with customers, taking bookings, arranging collections, completing all pre-bookings, air freight documentation, dealing with agents and general office administration.
  • Candidates will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work under pressure and have real attention to detail.
