Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer

Air Conditioning and refrigeration engineer required for our client, based in the Northamptonshire area. Specifically, they require an air conditioning engineer and refrigeration engineer, to work across their patch, typically within 40 miles or so of Northampton.

The air conditioning engineer / refrigeration engineer will be carrying out service, maintenance, repairs and installations on all types Air Conditioning and small refrigeration equipment. Sites range from domestic housing (carrying out small air conditioning installations) to schools and petrol stations.

The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer must hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning and refrigeration and their F-Gas Cat 1. The engineer must live within commutable distance of Northampton, as they will be expected to come into the office each morning, before setting out. There is no call out rota for this role, or extensive overtime, so will ideally suit an engineer looking for a good work life balance with little to no weekend work.

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer Position Requirements

• F-Gas Cat 1 / 2079
• NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration and Air conditioning or equivalent
• UK driving license
• 3 years plus experience, within the AC and Refrigeration sector
• Based within commutable distance of Northampton

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer Position Remuneration

• Basic salary £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
• Company van and fuel card with personal use
• Working hours 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
• No call out rota or extensive overtime expected
