Agricultural Engineer

Agricultural engineer required. My client is a leading supplier and maintainer of a range of agricultural equipment that is looking to hire an experienced agricultural engineer to increase their service coverage in the west. The ideal candidate will ideally have strong agricultural machinery experience, solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and will be based within a commutable distance of Montgomery.

A full driving licence is required for this role.

Agricultural Engineer Position Overview

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment in a workshop and/or a field-based environment
• Visiting customers sites across Shropshire, Cheshire and Mid Wales
• Complete all reports and administration required in a timely manner and to a high quality
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Complete all training programs to further develop skills and knowledge
• Maintain a clean work environment, and assists with overall workshop organization

Agricultural Engineer Position Requirements

• Previous experience performing service repairs on tractors and telehandlers
• Previous experience performing repairs and maintenance on hydraulic systems
• Good understanding and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Has good knowledge and can use standard computer applications, internet, and manufacturer service portals
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• A full, clean driving license
• Based within a commutable distance of Montgomery

Agricultural Engineer Position Remuneration

• £14.00 - £18.00 hourly rate dependant on experience
• Monday - Friday 8-5 (42.5 hours a week)
• Overtime available
• Company Van, laptop and phone all provided
• 28 Days holiday
• Pension
