Aerospace Warehouse Operative

Our client a global freight forwarder based in Heathrow are looking for an experienced Night shift Aerospace Warehouse Operative to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.

Working on a 4 on 4 off 12 hr shift pattern (19:00 - 07:00)

The successful candidate will provide a world class spares support to an Airline Customer. This will also include efficient running of the warehouse.

Duties and responsibilities of an Aerospace Warehouse Operative:

• Supporting goods in and the dispatch process throughout the facility, paying particular attention to compliance, accurate labelling and storage locations
• Working within an aerospace environment, you will be ensuring all materials meet the required standards and CAA regulations.
• Complying with Health and Safety.
• Follow compliance at all times to ensure we meet the company and legal compliance.
• Effective communication via emails and telephone.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work as a part of the team.

The successful candidate:

• Will have experience of part 145 maintenance regulatory process and stamp in an aerospace environment.
• Experience with handling fragile, sensitive or valuable parts.

• Full 5-year checkable work history and clean DBS
• Previous experience using a warehouse management system or goods in/goods out software.
• Forklift experience would be a bonus but not essential. (Counterbalance and/or Reach)
• Occasionally you may be required to speak with the client directly, you will need to have good communication skills and have a positive attitude.
