Our Client, Cambridgeshire Council, is seeking an Adult's Social Worker to join their Learning Disability Partnership Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Candidate must have experience of working with people with a learning disability, safeguarding enquiries and dols applications and ideally of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Will need to have access to a car to be able to undertake visits. 
  • Experience of quality assuring other people's work and line management (as we would be expecting them to support 2 social workers each).
  • The focus of this work will be support LDP to reduce the time people are waiting on a priority list.  
  • SSW in the Multidisciplinary Learning Disability Partnership will be required to supervise at least 2 social workers, complete Care Act assessments with appropriate care and support plans to meet assessed need.
  • Will also need to complete MCA assessments as required. 

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience in Adults Services.
