Job Title: Adult Social WorkerLocation: Leicester, United KingdomHourly Rate: £34

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults in need of social care support.
  • Develop and implement person-centered care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Provide advocacy and support to ensure service users' rights and preferences are respected.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver high-quality care and support services.
  • Monitor and review care plans regularly to ensure effectiveness and adaptability to changing needs.
  • Safeguard vulnerable adults and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience working as a social worker with adults, preferably within a statutory setting.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult social care.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
