Our Client, Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join their Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • You will take the lead on supporting adults to live well at home.                                                                                       
  • You will be part of a friendly and supportive team and your work will include managing a caseload, Care Act Assessments, Support Plans, Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest Decisions and signposting to internal and external services where necessary to enhance wellbeing and independence.                                                                     
  • You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build effective professional relationships with other disciplines and with other local health and social care services to enable a coordinated response to individuals and families.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum 2 years post qualified experience
