Adult Social Care Lawyer Job Description

A Local Authority in South Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team. As an Adult Social Care Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on behalf of the legal team. You will handle a caseload of complex cases, including Court of Protection matters, mental capacity issues, and safeguarding investigations.

Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with a minimum of 3 years PQE
  • Experience in Adult Social Care Law
  • Strong knowledge of Court of Protection matters, mental capacity issues, and safeguarding investigations
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
Salary and Benefits

The Local Authority is offering a competitive hourly rate of £40-£50ph for this 3-month contract position. As an Adult Social Care Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and collaborative team, gain valuable experience, and make a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults.
