Trainee Mortgage Protection Advisor

£19-22,600 DOE (Plus salary rises and commission once trained)

Location – Maidenhead – office based

My client, a market leader in the mortgage protection sector, is looking for a Trainee Mortgage Protection Advisor to join their growing team!

You don’t need any previous experience, as we will provide you with full training and support.

As a Trainee Protection Adviser, you will start by working as a Protection Administrator (1-2 years), helping the Protection Advisers with processing applications, completing medical reports and general administration.

You will learn about products and providers, and how to research and deal with cases. You will also have the opportunity to generate and build your own client base, and eventually conduct protection appointments and arrange policies.

You will also have the chance to study for the Mortgage Protection examinations, which is the professional qualification for the protection industry.

Once you are successfully trained there are salary increases and lots of commission to be earned!

To be successful in this role, you need to be:

  • Bright, enthusiastic, outgoing and personable
  • Educated to an A level standard or equivalent (graduates are also welcome)
  • Motivated to work to targets and KPIs
  • Able to work in a pressurised environment
