ADMINISTRATOR - THORNE, DONCASTER, DN8 4HT

24/7 Recruitment are looking for an experienced administration assistant to join the team in Thorne, Doncaster, DN8 4HT.
Please note you must have previous administration experience, however full training will be provided!

Shift and pay information for Administrator role:

  • Any 5 days of 7 - rotating shift 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
  • Fixed Night Shift: Sunday- Thursday or Monday - Friday 22:00-06:00
  • Rates between £11.68 - £15.67 per hour

Job Description for Administrator role:

  • To record and recognise pay rates for varying job roles.
  • To effectively manage the collation of all agency time sheets to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Deal with incoming emails relating to staff absences and pass to the relevant departments.
  • Attend the site morning meetings & provide clear accurate minutes/notes & distribute
  • Any other reasonable request within the scope of the position with full flexibility to work any shift requirements across a 24/7 operation in various departments across site.
  • Managing & recording of invoices for DHL and for the customer CDS.
  • To meet & greet site visitors & escort to meetings
  • Ensure fire registers are managed & maintained with exceptions escalated to senior management to ensure compliance
  • Book Hotel rooms and transport for offsite workers
  • Purchase uniform for staff and record.
  • Ensure senior management are kept informed of all wage anomalies & system issues
  • To update the customers data base with all agency's new starters and leavers.
  • Devise and maintain office systems including data management and filing.
  • To co-ordinate site costs Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain, records, spreadsheets and databases. The candidate must have a good understanding of the software used.
  • Escalation of customer issues & recording of same

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Confident telephone Manner
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong PC literacy
