Our client, a small local financial services firm in Hertford, is seeking a diligent and organised individual to join our team as an Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 6-12 months of experience in an office-based environment, looking to develop their skills within the financial services sector.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies
- Organise and maintain physical and digital files
- Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings
- Support colleagues with administrative tasks as needed
- Assist in preparing reports and documents
- Ensure office operations run smoothly by handling day-to-day tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- 6-12 months of experience in an office-based environment
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues
