A successful and growing company in Chelmsford are seeking an Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be a key member of the Operations team and will liaise within all areas of the business to ensure that all shipments are fulfilled on time.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast paced environment with strong administration skills.

Due to the location of the office, the candidate must be able to drive or cycle to work.

Key Duties:

  • Input data for sales orders, purchase orders and keep Service Management system updated
  • Utilising both internal and external supplier processes, manage the consumable order lifecycle from end to end
  • Prepare shipment paperwork and commercial invoices
  • Process consumable tickets and queries
  • Deal with any customers and queries when needed
  • Update POD and tracking information
  • Complete stock transfers and allocations on the system
  • Investigate any delivery discrepancies and raise claims when required
  • Process parts tickets orders and liaise with the service desk regarding any goods in or out
  • Identify improvements for change and processes and identify fast/slow moving products
  • Organise and manage inventory and manage regular stock takes
  • Any other adhoc duties

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • At least 1 year administration experience
  • Good skills with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to drive or cycle to work due to location
