Starting Point Recruitment are currently recruiting an Administration Assistant on behalf of our client.

Location:
Walsall
Rate: £12.41
Working hours: Tuesday or Wednesday, 7hrs per week (additional hours may be required)
Location: Home based with occasional tasks within the Walsall Area

This position will conclude September 2024.

Responsibilities:-
  • Assist with smooth management of workload from team mailboxes.
  • Keep records, help manage, analyse and present data/info to compile reports.
  • Manage mailing lists and help respond to enquiries.
  • Assist with the production of newsletters and resources.
  • Keeping records of financial expenditure by local groups who will be commissioned to do the training.
  • Arranging training and community events.
  • Assist with preparation and delivery of the specific project Inspired work plan including online meetings, community events and volunteer training sessions including room booking. arranging catering, booking on participants, follow up work and updating presentation slides etc.
  • Assist with communicating the work of the specific Inspired project to internal and external audiences, including via email campaigns.
  • Assist with the production of newsletters, posters and e-news content.
  • Contribute to the overall outputs of the Inspired team and always carry out duties with due regard to the well-being and safety of others.
  • Support BBCT in continued efforts to be an environmentally sustainable organisation.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the nature of the post as deemed appropriate and by agreement with the CEO.

Person Specification:-
  • You have good demonstrable experience of using Microsoft programmes, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Mail chimp. Or where there is less experience held in PowerPoint and Mail chimp, the ability to quickly learn how to use the basic functionality.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and well organised.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload.
  • You feel comfortable engaging with a range of audiences in both face-to-face and online scenarios.
  • You are motivated to work from home with reduced supervision.
  • You are organised, come to work on time and deliver work before the deadline. You can prioritise and manage a range of tasks.
  • You are a team player and are willing to help in other departments to drive the organisations forward.
