An exciting position has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to work for a renowned London based Charity

The postholder will assist the Charity on an interim basis through an exciting period of change

Key responsibilities of the role: 

  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and handle phone calls and queries from the public
  • Support HR administration including onboarding for new starters
  • Assist the transition of manual filing to electronic system
  • Email management and maintaining inboxes
  • Ensure the office environment is organized and conducive to staff and visitor needs
  • Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers for payment of services

Ideal candidate profile: 

  • Substantial and recent administration experience
  • Effective and demonstrable interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and re-prioritise with support on a daily basis
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with people at all levels
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications including MS Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel

Location: Islington (2/3 days per week in the office) 

Duration: 3 months (likelihood of extension)

Hourly Rate: £15-17 PAYE inclusive of holiday pay
