A Maidstone-based charity dedicated to ensuring individuals with sight loss aren’t left behind in a rapidly advancing technological world is looking for an Administration Assistant to join the team. Along with a salary of up to £24,000 per annum, you will have the flexibility to work from home every Monday and Friday and also receive pension contributions and 25 days paid leave. 

The role is ideal for someone who is highly organised and able to prioritise their workload. You will be part of a supportive team and will make a real difference to the smooth running of the office. 

What you’ll do as an Administration Assistant?
  • Perform day to day admin duties and support the Head of Operations and wider team.
  • Handle incoming calls, manage the inbox, maintain files, and ensure the database is updated. 
  • Manage diaries and travel plans
  • Take responsibility for all sales directly made through the website.
  • Assist with Health and Safety compliance and building maintenance
  • Order supplies and negotiate supplier contracts
  • Welcome guests and managing reception duties
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take detailed minutes
We’re looking for an Administration Assistant with:
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

You will be working in the Head office Tuesday to Thursday, 09:00-17:15, with the option to work the other two days remotely.
