Actuators Engineer

A cutting edge opportunity has arisen with a worldwide market leading multinational engineering company working with clients in the automotive, aerospace, renewable, scientific, pharmaceutical, electronics, oil and gas and food processing industries they are recruiting an Actuators Engineer, a graduate with a degree Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering and a year's or more practical engineering experience would really suit this role.

Location: Milton Keynes

The Role:

We are looking for an engineer to provide product support subsidiaries of the business. The role involves supporting Electric Actuators by answering technical questions, assisting with customer applications and troubleshooting. This support will involve setting up and programming PLCs, motor drivers and industrial communications (PROFINET, EtherCAT, IO-Link, etc.).

The business is currently expanding fast, providing growth opportunities for those who join. As part of their global development team led by Japan, they are focused on delivering solutions to their customers that are innovative and future proof.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A Degree ideally BEng or MEng -Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 1 year relevant work experience
• Knowledge of PLCs and Ladder or Structured Text programming language
• Knowledge of electrical motion control for industrial applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be required to write detailed, technical reports and product documentation
• The ability to occasionally travel to Europe
