Our client is looking for an experienced Acoustic Engineer to join their leading independent Acoustic Consultancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of worldwide iconic projects across Art, Media, Sport, Industrial, Government, Education and many more sectors!

Acoustic Engineer Requirements:

  • Relevant Acoustics degree or similar
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, Building Acoustics experience preferable
  • Knowledge of legislation and guidelines relevant to the acoustics sector
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ready to apply for AMIOA with the Institute of Acoustics (IoA)

Acoustic Engineer Duties:

  • Undertake noise assessments and surveys
  • Preparation of fee proposals
  • Noise modelling work using software including CadnaA & ODEON
  • Prepare and complete technical reports
  • Liaise with clients regarding project requirements
  • Environmental noise surveys
  • Site visits
