Our client is a dynamic organisation seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation of a new financial system while supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Year-End Accounts:

    • Deliver draft accounts and supporting documentation for year-end.
    • Liaise with auditors for annual audit completion.
  • New Financial System:

    • Support system implementation and testing.
    • Create transition mapping tables and develop user training materials.
  • Financial Analysis:

    • Evaluate contract and project financial performance.
    • Provide trend analysis, variance reports, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Monthly Management Accounts:

    • Assist in monthly accounts preparation.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Review and create new procedures for system support.
    • Identify and recommend process improvements.
Requirements:

  • Experienced or part-qualified accountant with finance team experience.
  • Ability to provide accurate and timely financial information.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
