Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Production: Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Bookkeeping and VAT Returns: Manage bookkeeping tasks efficiently and handle VAT returns promptly, maintaining up-to-date records for clients.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in tax compliance matters, including preparing tax returns and submission.
  • General Administration: Handle general administrative duties as needed, including correspondence, filing, and client communication.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the accountancy field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
