Accounts Senior
Chartered Accountancy Practice easily commutable from Guildford, Horsham or Caterham are seeking an addition to their well-established and highly committed team. The longstanding Accountancy Practice has been in business for over 70 years and takes a more traditional approach to their operations. Ideally seeking someone who can contribute to the established way of doing things but also bring some fresh direction to the business.
Ideally suited to an experienced Accountant, with at least 5 years in Accountancy Practice. The role is open to part of fully qualified Accounts Seniors but working towards either ACCA or ACA is essential. Long-term ongoing progression within the business is available, and there's an extremely low staff turnover rate. This is a fab Accountancy Practice for the right person to enjoy a long and fulfilling career within.
Salary and Benefits:
Competitive salary dependent on experience but ranging between £30,000 - 40,000

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Full Financial and Management Accounts preparation
- Bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Personal tax returns
- Client meetings and advice
- Supporting junior team members
- Ad hoc tasks as the clients require
Applicant requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualification, working toward or completed
- Experience within UK Accountancy Practice
- Good software literacy, ideally including Xero. Xero certified is desirable but not essential
- Excellent work ethic
- Ability to work independently with an excellent understanding of FRS 102 and 105
