Hays are working with a is a small independent accountancy practice based in Bristol, looking to add a semi senior accountant to the team.

Within the role you will be responsible for accounts production for small businesses including limited companies and sole traders. You will be responsible for preparing and checking VAT tax returns. You will also liaise with clients regarding their accounts, tax returns, VAT and tax queries, whilst aiming to build up these client relationships.

To succeed in this role you ideally be AAT qualified accountant or you will be currently studying your ACCA or equivalent. You will need to have experience within an accountancy practice, preparing accounts. You will need a keen eye for detail and good communication skills.

You will receive a competitive salary of up to £26,000, on top of other benefits. You will also receive internal training aiming to develop your accountancy skills as a whole.
