Accounts Semi Senior - Creative, Media & Art Clients

Are you an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Semi Senior or Trainee Accountant who is looking to join a niche West End practice which specialises in working with high profile Creative, Media, Entertainment, Theatre, Fashion, Film & TV and Art Gallery clients? Do you have between two and three years experience working for an accountancy firm and want to work in a very relaxed and informal office environment, which is very sociable and will also offer you a great work life balance? If so this entrepreneurial and forward thinking practice is looking to recruit a new Trainee Accountant, Accounts Assistant or Accounts Semi Senior where your time will be split between preparing sole trader and Ltd company statutory accounts, corporation and personal tax Returns, bookkeeping assignments and VAT returns for an array of high profile London based clients. If you cant prepare statutory accounts full training will be provided. You will mainly use Cloud based software such as Sage One and Xero as well as CCH for accounts production. The office atmosphere is very relaxed and easy going and would suit someone looking to work in a non corporate atmosphere and achieve a good work life balance. The firm offers hybrid working, you will be based 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.

To be considered for this interesting new position (March 2024), you must have at least two years experience working in an accountancy firm, in a mixed and varied role involving bookkeeping assignments, VAT returns, accounts preparation and tax returns. It is likely you will be studying for a professional qualification, likely the ACA or ACCA. This firm has had great success with candidate from small or medium firm backgrounds that want to work in a London based firm with interesting clients and a lovely West End based office. You must now be looking for your next challenge, and to join a niche practice where training will be provided to get you up to speed in areas you don’t have experience of. You must possess excellent communication skills, be a self starter and be able to work in a team and also independently. The firm will offer full study support for the ACA or ACCA after the 3 month probation period has been completed as well as a generous benefits package and progression with the firm.
