Job Title: Accounts Professional - Semi Senior

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours - Monday - Thursday 09.00 - 17.30 with a 17.00 finish on a Friday

Location: Shirley, Solihull - free onsite car parking

Benefits: 23 days holiday, subsidised restaurant on site, pension, free car parking, flexibility to amend the hours on a Wednesday

If this sounds like you, this could be the next right step in your career. Our client within Professional services is seeking a Accounts Professional - Semi Senior to join their established and busy team.

Key Duties:

  • Dealing primarily with owner managed businesses including sole traders, companies and partnerships
  • Accounts and Financial statements preparation
  • Client record processing
  • Management accounts preparation
  • VAT returns and checking
  • Dealing with basic client queries
  • Admin and other ad hoc tasks as required

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Between 3 to 7 years of practice experience
  • AAT L3 qualified or have started ACCA qualifications
  • Experience in bookkeeping, VAT returns and accounts preparation
  • Experience using Sage, Xero, QuickBooks
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Professional and organised approach to work
