This position involves managing the accounts payable for a not-for-profit organisation within the Accounting & Finance department. The role requires excellent attention to detail and competency in financial management.

Description

  • Processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining updated records of invoices and payments.
  • Handling accounts payable enquiries.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Preparation of payment runs.
  • Managing petty cash transactions.
  • Assisting with month end closure.
  • Reporting discrepancies and issues to the management.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable should have:

  • A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An understanding of the not-for-profit industry.

Job Offer

  • An hourly rate of between 17.10 GBP and 20.90 GBP.
