Our client, a highly respected business within Fresh Produce, is seeking a temporary accounts payable executive.
This short-term opportunity is ideal for a finance enthusiast eager to contribute to the efficient processing of supplier invoices and support the overall accounts payable function on behalf of our client in the fresh produce industry.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to
* Process expenses.
* Provide assistance to the Accounts Payable Manager in preparing accounts for payment.
* Address queries from group finance and various departments.
* Conduct creditors reconciliations at month-end.
* Foster relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
* Support the team with invoice verification, matching, coding, and processing.
Skills and Competencies
* Previous experience in accounts payable and a busy office environment (Essential).
* Proven ability to take the initiative.
* Strong decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in Word and Excel.
* Aptitude for figures and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and meet deadlines.
* Strong organisational and teamwork abilities
