We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Manager vacancy, to work in the London office of one of the world’s leading law firms.

This role will be offered on a 16-month fixed-term contract basis and is due to commence ASAP.

The role holder will be responsible for managing all facets of the London Accounts Payable function, to include approving new vendor documentation and overseeing the invoice and expense approval process. The AP Manager will also manage the team, ensuring processes are followed accurately and in compliance with all firm policies.

Typical duties will include:

  • Ensuring accuracy of invoice and expense report administration.
  • Identifying process improvements.
  • Managing escalated issues.
  • Monitoring performance metrics.
  • Maintaining current documentation for AP procedures.
  • Payment processing on the firm’s banking platforms.
  • Supervising, coaching, and training the Accounts Payable team on procedures, controls, and issue resolution.

Suitable applicants will have a strong understanding of Accounts Payable, with previous supervisory/management experience in all aspects of AP processes. A comprehensive understanding of working within a law firm or professional services industry is also essential, alongside the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

A highly competitive salary is on offer (dependent upon experience), plus benefits and hybrid working arrangements are in place (3 days per week to be based in the office, with the option to work 2 days remotely per week).
