Accounts Payable Manager

Fin Search are recruiting an Accounts Payable Manager on a permanent basis for a rapidly growing retail business based in Barnsley. This is a newly created role due to continued growth of the business.

As Accounts Payable Manager, this role will be responsible for supervising a small team of accounts payable clerks, to ensure the accurate and timely processing and payment of all accounts payable invoices.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, managing the cashflow process, managing supplier set up and amendments, implementing and maintaining department KPIs, managing supplier relationships and answering any escalated queries, bank reconciliations, stock reconciliations, identifying potential supplier risks and suggesting and implementing processes and procedures across the department where appropriate.

The business is unique in that they operate a 4 day working week as standard and a FTE salary is paid for 4 days.

• Have a strong accounts payable background
• Have worked in a managerial or supervisory capacity previously
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills

£40,000 - £50,000 + pension scheme + Perkbox scheme + brand new offices + free on site parking + 4 day working week with full time salary paid
