This role is ideal for an organised and meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk seeking a challenging position within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be a vital team member in the Accounting & Finance department, located in Leicester.

Description

  • Processing invoices and ensuring accurate record keeping.
  • Liaising with suppliers and resolving payment queries.
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Managing petty cash transactions.
  • Preparing payment runs.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information.
  • Contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • A solid background in Accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
