My client in letchworth is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to help them through a busy period on a temporary basis (approx. 8 weeks)
This is to start ASAP
Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm
£12.86ph
You will provide a professional and timely accounting service in respect of all processing and payments of invoices and expenses through the accounts payable ledger. This is a varied, hands-on, role that requires accuracy, attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills.

What you will do as an Accounts Payable clerk
- Responsible for the efficient processing and payment of invoices and expenses within the agreed payment terms.
- Process purchase invoices on to the company’s ERP system.
- Proactively manage supplier queries with the purchasing and other functions to ensure timely processing of supplier invoice
- Manage and process supplier payment runs.
- Reconcile supplier statements monthly.
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
- Filing invoices and statements
- Any other ad hoc duties
- Organised and able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Good communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong team player.
- Proactive with a 'can do' attitude.
