My client in letchworth is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to help them through a busy period on a temporary basis (approx. 8 weeks)
This is to start ASAP
Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm
£12.86ph
 
You will provide a professional and timely accounting service in respect of all processing and payments of invoices and expenses through the accounts payable ledger.  This is a varied, hands-on, role that requires accuracy, attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills.
 
What you will do as an Accounts Payable clerk
 
  • Responsible for the efficient processing and payment of invoices and expenses within the agreed payment terms.
  • Process purchase invoices on to the company’s ERP system.
  • Proactively manage supplier queries with the purchasing and other functions to ensure timely processing of supplier invoice
  • Manage and process supplier payment runs.
  • Reconcile supplier statements monthly.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
  • Filing invoices and statements
  • Any other ad hoc duties
What you will need as an Accounts Payable
  • Organised and able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Good communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong team player.
  • Proactive with a 'can do' attitude.
