Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk for a highly successful and prestigious manufacturing company whose Head Office is based in Rainham. The company have recently completed a significant acquisition, and so they are looking to add an Accounts Payable professional to help facilitate their recent growth.

They are offering a competitive salary up to £30,000, as well as a wide range of market-leading benefits including hybrid working, study support, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, annual salary reviews and more!

Our client is ideally looking to recruit an experienced accounting professional with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, someone who is well versed in all aspects of purchase ledger, and an individual who can hit the ground running and is looking for long term stability within a cohesive yet professional working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing (Matching to goods receipts and PO’s).
  • UK Payments - BACS - Weekly.
  • Foreign payments - CHAPS - Weekly.
  • Timely query resolution.
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliation.
  • Assisting at month-end as required.
  • Other adhoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience within Accounts Payable.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Works well within a pressurised environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
