The experienced candidate will play a vital role in supporting on maintaining the ledgers and various transnational duties.

Page Personnel are currently recruiting for well established organisation within the insurance sector who are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis which will be offering an immediate start. The experienced candidate will play a vital role in supporting on maintaining the ledgers and various transnational duties and should also hold experience within the Insurance sector.

Description

  • Manage the accounts payable function in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Process invoices, reconcile invoices received and purchase orders.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries.
  • Process business expense returns.
  • Cashbook and petty cash cheque processing.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as required to assist the Accounting & Finance team.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • Proficient understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable payable duties.
  • Must have obtained experience within the insurance industry.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
  • Will be immediately available to start the role or on a reduced notice period.

Job Offer
