An Accounts Payable Assistant is sought to work within a busy finance department in a Not For Profit organisation. This role requires a candidate who is well-versed in processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and handling queries.

Description

The key responsibilities of anAccounts Payable Assistantwill include, but may not be limited to;

  • Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Deal with supplier queries
  • Prepare payment runs
  • Maintain and update supplier records
  • Assist with month-end processes
  • Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

  • Not for Profit and Charities background
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Ability to commute to Manchester
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An understanding of accounting principles
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
