The Client

Harmonic is very excited to be working on an Accounts Payable Assistant role with a fast-growing Art Fabrication and Retail business looking to expand their team. This role offers fantastic, quick career progression and growth opportunities. They are a friendly and collaborative team who work across several creative sectors and they aren't slowing down.

They have been in business for 30+ years and have established themselves as a market leader in the world of art manufacturing for museums, theatres, parks, and music venues.

The Role

The business embodies a start-up environment, it is fast-paced and is perfect for someone looking to expand their finance skills alongside an accomplished Financial Controller as a mentor. You will be responsible for raising supplier invoices, liaising with internal teams and suppliers, and working to improve upon systems and digitization processes.

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices
• Managing staff expenses
• Monitor cashflow and budget
• Manage digitized time sheets
• Maintaining invoice coding and making payments on Sage accounting software
• Liaise with clients on accounting matters
• Ad hoc tasks to support the Financial Controller

What we need to see (essential):

• At least 2 years of previous Accounts Payable experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience using Sage 50

What we'd like to see (bonus):

• Previous experience in the creative industries
• Small to medium sized business experience

Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 + bonus + benefits

Start Date: ASAP
