Halliday Marx have partnered with an Education provider to recruit for an Accounts Payable Clerk on an interim basis for 6 months with potential to go permanent.

This is a Hybrid working role which would require you (the candidate) to travel to their London based office 1 day a week.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Matching and posting of Accounts Payable invoices.
  • Process a large volume of invoices
  • Processing credit card and expense claims.
  • Double entry processing/ Prepayment and accrual knowledge
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Weekly meetings with the Management accounts team.
  • Resolving internal and external AP Payment queries

Successful candidate requirements;

  • Minimum of 18 months Accounts Payable related experience
  • Processing large volumes of weekly invoices
  • Understanding of Accruals & Prepayments/ Double entry processing
  • Experience liaising with other finance departments
  • Immediately available
