Accounts Manager

This is a fabulous opportunity for a recently or newly qualified ACA or ACCA qualified accountant to join the Surrey office a well-established multi-sited firm of accountants as an Accounts Manager. The firm has an excellent reputation for career development and staff retention.

Some flexibility to working hours / hybrid working is available.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the wider business and the senior management team, the Accounts Manager will oversee a portfolio of clients while reviewing the quality of more junior team members and active studiers.

• Assist start-ups and existing clients with all aspects of their finances
• Review of statutory year-end accounts
• UK financial reporting for limited companies, sole traders, and LLPs

Skills and Experience

• You will be an ACA or ACCA or equivalent Qualified Accountant - support will be given if you are yet to complete final papers
• You will have experience in statutory accounts preparation gained in a Practice environment and be ready to move to an Accounts Manager role
• The firm uses modern IT systems including Xero so previous experience with these will be advantageous
• Experience in managing a portfolio of clients and supervising junior staff

Salary and an excellent range of benefits include the following:

• Salary of £42,000 - £47,000

Location

This role is based in Weybridge and is commutable from Kingston, Egham, Sunbury, Epsom, Leatherhead, Woking and surrounding areas.
