Accounts/Audit Semi Senior

We are recruiting for a Firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leamington who are seeking an Accounts/Audit Semi Senior to join their Firm.

Responsibilities:

• You will work with a broad range of OMB to SME clients from a broad range of sectors.
• Awareness of statutory requirements and submission to Companies House.
• Retain responsibility for own work and that of audit juniors.
• Scrutinise client records and document findings in a clear and concise manner for conclusion.
• Responsible for the preparation of tax returns.
• Visiting client’s premises to carry out audit work where necessary, including stock take attendances
• Attend in depth training sessions regarding audit assignments
• Review of audit and accounts work undertaken by junior members of the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum AAT qualified, ideally studying towards ACA or ACCA.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Organised.
• Excellent interpersonal Skills.
• Flexibility.
• Commitment.
• Team Player.
• Familiarity of Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel.
• Availability to work overtime and travel to client offices.
