This role is for an Accounts Assistant within the Accounting & Finance department in the Professional Services industry. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of the team, handling a variety of tasks related to account management and financial reporting.

Description

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable activities
  • Managing the company's ledgers
  • Supporting the team in the month-end closing process
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies
  • Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
  • Providing administrative support to the Accounting & Finance team

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Working toward or near completion of AAT/ACCA
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A proactive approach to work
  • Good communication and team working skills
