Accounts Assistant

Our client is a growing PR business based in the West End who are looking for an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper for a newly created role to work alongside their Financial controller.

The role will involve being responsible for a number of companies in the group and assisting the the Financial Controller with adhoc tasks.

The company is a sociable and dynamic business and will suit someone who has worked for a SME or entrepreneurial

• Accounting - managing sales and purchase ledgers, credit control, completing bank and company card reconciliations and overseeing
• Preparing VAT returns
• Planning & Analysis - preparing forecasts and management reports
• Commercial finance - preparing client level financial analysis including profitability reporting, staffing and resource allocation.
• Weekly cash flow forecasting
• Helping to implement continuous improvement to our financial processes and controls to keep pace with business growth.
• Tracking project finances & final profit
• Payroll duties
• Creating projects on Xero and assigning costs against them

The role is full time, 5 days a week in the office working roughly 9.30am to 6pm.
