My client is looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join their team in Welshpool.

The ideal candidate will work well within a team as well as on their own, have previous accounts experience and be confident and enthusiastic. Experience using Sage would be advantageous.

The role

  • Purchase Ledger Processing
  • Sales Ledger Invoicing
  • Credit Control
  • Payment Allocation
  • Taking Accounts Calls
  • Monitoring Purchasing Emails
  • Handling Accounts Queries
  • Statement Reconciliations
  • Banking
  • Other Administration Tasks as Required


Skills

  • Good general IT skills and a working understanding of Excel.
  • Good numerical skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Well organised
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including a professional and confident telephone manner.


The role will require candidates to be able to work both on their own initiative and under guidance from others, and thus they will need to be able to work flexibly within the team, helping to support colleagues and managers with a variety of work.
