We are seeking an Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for ensuring all financial records are up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounting & Finance team and support the wider Not For Profit organisation with financial reporting tasks.

Description

  • Accurately processing financial transactions and maintaining financial records.
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Reconciling bank statements and ensuring transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Providing support to the wider Accounting & Finance team.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant financial legislation and standards.
  • Assisting with the annual audit process.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and systems.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to work well in a team and independently.

Job Offer
