Accounts Assistant

Overview

Our globally recognised client are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Accounts Assistant to join their sociable and welcoming team! This is a really exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to work closely with the Management Accountant and assist the company in a period of growth.

In the commencement of the role the successful candidate will send and process invoices daily, pick up areas of credit control and reconciliations. As the Accounts Assistant will be working closely with the Management Accounts the applicant will get plenty of exposure with accruals, pre-payments and posting journals to assist with Month End - putting them in great stead to eventually move into the Management Accountant role! The business are specifically looking for somebody that wants to study towards the ACCA or CIMA and will provide full study support!

Skills Required

• To be a driven individual with confident communication skills that can hit the ground running with the team
• The ability and ambition to study towards either ACCA or CIMA as this will support the role
• Have some experience in a fast-pace and high volume financial working environment
• To hold either a finance related degree or have studied and completed AATs
