 My client a boutique legal firm based in the West End of London are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. 

Duties

Process payments including CHAPS, Faster Payments, BACS, and international transfers.

Inform fee earners of incoming funds and process related transactions.

Conduct daily client bank reconciliations.

Post disbursements and anticipated disbursements accurately.

Handle the processing of bills efficiently.

Review client ledger balances, identify discrepancies, and resolve them.

Assist in clearing ledger balances and archiving matters as needed.

Address accounts queries from fee earners and support staff.

Provide support to the accounts manager as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Good interpersonal, organisational, and administrative abilities.

Knowledge of Solicitors’ Accounts Rules is beneficial.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Experienced in multi-tasking and managing time-sensitive documents.

Ability to take responsibility for delegated tasks and thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.

The role is 9.30-5.30 and 3 days in the office once settled in.
