Finance Officer

Location: Solihull

Contract: Temporary, 3 months - potential for temp-to-perm

Working Hours: 5 days on-site, 37 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £12ph - £13ph

About the Role:

Join a dynamic team in Solihull as a Finance Officer, where your attention to detail and finance expertise will shine. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including journal posting, invoice management, credit card journals, and managing finance inbox queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely journal posting
• Efficient management of invoices and purchase orders
• Handling credit card journals and reconciliations
• Managing and responding to finance inbox queries
• Processing employee expenses and reimbursements
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Preparation of financial reports and analysis
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial compliance
• Participating in financial audits and providing necessary documentation
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar finance role
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
